Trail's End Camp

Last summer I worked at a summer camp called Trails End Camp.  It is in Beach Lake, Pennsylvania about 8 hours away from were I live and it was a place were I could go by myself and have a summer adventure.  I didn't realize that last summer would be the best summer of my entire life.  I met friends from all over the world and even though we only knew each other for 60 days I feel like I have known these people for my entire life!  Also my kiddies that I had at camp were 12-13 year olds and we were called the Trinities.  I had a bunk full of 14 girls and I love each an everyone of them so very, very much!  They make my world go round and whenever I hear from them it brightens my entire day!  The only thing about that I dread at camp each year is the last day of camp.  Having to say goodbye to my fellow counselors that have helped me through the summer or saying goodbye to my girls that I have basically been there mom the entire summer and knowing that I will not see them for 10 months is the worst feeling in the whole world.  It took me the whole 2 hour bus ride to the airport to stop crying.  Thank god for facebook!!!  It has kept me in touch with all my friends form all over!  But he best feeling is getting the email saying that you were asked to come back and work at Trail's End for the next summer!  I can't wait to go back this summer and I know it will be just as fabulous as the last!
