Martell School of Dance

Martell School of Dance has been such a blessing in my life and I honestly don't know what I would do if I did not have it in my life.  The dancers and teachers that are at this studio have helped me in so many ways and helped me shape who I am as a person today!  Martell is my dance studio and a second home to me and I know every time I walk into the studio I am welcome back into every one's arms.  My last full year at Martell was my senior year and since then I have made various visits to see everyone and see how its going!  Its hard for me to get up to the studio these days with school and work but every time I walk through the door I am always welcomed by baby ballerina's screaming and running around waiting for their class. 

The friends I have made at Martell have a very, very special place in my heart.  If you are not a dancer you might not understand the feeling of dancing an emotional or powerful piece with your friends and its a team effort to create a specific image the choreographer wants.  And the feeling of hitting that specific combination you have all have worked so hard to hit on stage the night of the show.  All of us know about the beautiful costumes, crazy overdue makeup, sweat dripping down your back and feet screaming for you to stop dancing but we forget all about this once you walk on stage and you hear and feel the music start and you begin the continuous 8 counts, and 1 2 and 3 4 5 and 6 7 and 8...I will never forget my senior dance recital, it is a cherished moment in my life, being able to dance with my great friends 1 last time on stage together I would go back to the night any day if I could.  Now I go back to the recitals and see that all the younger dancers have grown into beautiful and graceful dancers and it makes me so proud to have danced with them.  It warms my heart to watch them on stage and know that they will one day be amazing dancers and change the world with their dancing.  I am forever grateful for you guys to be in my life and even though I don't see you all as much as I use to you will ALWAYS be in my heart and I love you girls so much!

Aside from the friends I have made, I have also made fabulous relationships with my dance teachers at Martell.  I thank them so much for being in my life and helping me get through a lot in my life.  You may not know that you were helping me at the time, but in the long run you all have helped me get through rough times in my life and I am forever grateful.  You were patient, kind and so very welcoming to me.  And always willing to help me with all the questions I asked.  You were always there when I needed a good laugh or to just talk with someone.  I love you guys so much and thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for everything you have don't for me!  I love you!

So to anyone who is looking for a dance studio for their child I will always and forever recommend Martell School of Dance!  My opinion may be bias but Martell School of Dance is the best studio ever!!! :]
